The Hostel Management System is a tool designed to help maintain records of college students living in different hostel facilities. Users must go through a login process to access the system's features, which include adding, removing, updating, and viewing records of students in a specific hostel. When adding a student's record, the user must provide the student's roll number, name, date of birth, age, city, phone number, email address, father's name, father's phone number, room number, and hostel name (which can be one of four options: BH-1, BH-2, BH-3, GH-1). When updating a student's record, only the room number and phone number can be changed. Users can search for a student's record using either the roll number or the student's name, and they can view records of all students in a particular hostel. The system also provides a listing of students, including their names, roll numbers, addresses, and contact information. Overall, the Hostel Management System helps streamline the process of managing student records in a hostel, saving time and effort.
